A West Virginia University professor emeritus who tirelessly supported the University, its programs and students has passed away at the age of 84.

“I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream,” and not just any ice cream, but Appalachian Apple Crumble and Land Grant Crunch, two flavors recently voted as most desired in an online poll held by the West Virginia University Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design.

an article of clothing.
Earlier this semester, students from WVU’s graphic design and
fashion, dress and merchandising programs joined an elite group of designers
from five universities to compete in the Student Design League.

100-Mile Dinner returns to Café Evansdale
West Virginia University will host its annual 100-Mile Meal at the Café Evansdale dining center on Thursday (Oct. 13) with all major menu ingredients sourced from a 100 mile radius of the Evansdale campus. The evening is the result of a partnership between WVU Dining, The Davis College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Design, WVU Extension Service, and dozens of local farmers.
