For all faculty supported by NIFA Capacity funds (virtually all research faculty
in Davis College) acknowledging that support in publications is important. Even
if grant funds covered most of the operational costs, salary support likely came
from NIFA.
As part of that acknowledgement, the authors should request a West Virginia Agricultural
and Forestry Experiment Station Scientific Article Number for the publication and
reference the support from NIFA in the acknowledgements.
