Student Enhancement Grants

The Davis College offers Student Enhancement Grants to support activities that enrich a student’s academic experience. Students may receive a grant for activities such as study abroad, conference and workshop attendance as well as research and creative scholarship activities.

Availability of funds can vary based on individual fund restrictions and the time of the year. All applications will be reviewed and considered, but funding cannot be guaranteed.

Applications will be reviewed in three cycles:

Cycle 1: Early Fall

  • August 15 - September 30
  • Awards made by October 7
  • Available for fall conferences and workshops

Cycle 2: Late Fall-Winter

  • September 30 - November 18
  • Awards made by December 2
  • Available for winter intersession, winter break trips and spring break trips

Cycle 3: Spring-Summer

  • January 13 - April 14
  • Awards made by April 28
  • Available for summer study abroad, workshops and conferences

Students are eligible to receive one award per academic year. Awards are only valid within the fiscal year they are received (July 1 – June 30). Unused awards will be returned to the fund.
