The purpose of this organization is to promote the highest standards of agricultural
education and a more intimate acquaintance and closer relationship with individuals

Visit Gamma Sigma DeltaPhi U is the Family and Consumer Sciences National Honor Society. Several scholarships
are offered each year to Phi U members in undergraduate and graduate programs
of study.

Professional Club for students with an interest in Agriculture & Resource Economics
AGR is more than just one of those strictly social fraternities; it is also a professional
fraternity. All members of AGR have related career interests. AGR is for young
men pursuing any career related to the agriculture, food or fiber industries.

The WVU Student Sub-Unit of the American Fisheries Society was formed in 2000.
Their mission is to provide a professional forum for fisheries students and faculty
members interested in fisheries pursuits. Prior to recognition by the parent
chapter of the American Fisheries Society (AFS), fisheries students were involved
in the WVU Wildlife and Fisheries Club. The fisheries students became interested
in different goals and pursuits than the wildlife group, which provided the impetus
to form a recognized AFS subunit at WVU.

American Society of Interior Designers
ASID promotes professionalism in interior design services and products for the
workplace and home. To keep up with the unique needs of its members, ASID has
created the Design Specialty Network (DSN) program. Eight defined areas of interior
design are featured on Network ASID, an on-line program featuring specialized
information, news bullets, membership information, reports, publications, product
options/availability and more.

Collegiate 4-H of West Virginia University is a service organization open to any
WVU student. Throughout the year they offer a variety of social, service, and
fundraising activities often joining with other university organizations to extend
the fun.
Collegiate Horsemen Association
This club brings students together to network with other students and industry
professionals at WVU and around the country. Educational events like horse expos,
shows and tours, guest speakers and social activities are just some of the opportunities
WVU Collegiate Horsemen’s members have access to! Whether you are a seasoned
equestrian or horse enthusiast, this club has something for you. Any and all

The WVU Cooking Club is the first official cooking club at West Virginia University.
The club allows you to indulge in a variety of different foods, while learning
about cultures and their cooking techniques.
Energy Land Management Association
Foster’s relationship building among ELM students; cultivates relationships between
ELMA students and professionals; and develops community support/volunteer skills
as an official WVU student association.
The FBA provides students in the fashion, dress and merchandising program at West
Virginia University with the opportunity to experience many different aspects
surrounding the field.

Newly formed in 2014, the Food Science Club aims to provide an environment for
students with an interest in food science, to offer a national network for students
who wish to obtain an internship or career in food science related fields, and
to show a need for an undergraduate food science program at WVU. For more information,

The WVU Forestry Club is an all inclusive group of students from all campuses that are heavily involved in representing WVU at various woodsman competitions through out the United States. These competitions implement traditional and fundamental forestry/logging practices that feed into the STIHL Timbersports series. The student club for Wood Science and Technology or other interested students.
FPS is an international society of professionals in the wood products industry,
government agencies, and universities. The student chapter constructs various
woodworking projects for the benefit of the Division of Forestry and Natural
Resources and the Wood Science and Technology program.

Mission Statement: – To provide students with information about job opportunities,
internships, scholarships, etc. through guest speakers, bimonthly meetings, emails

Resource Economics and Management Club
The REM club is designed to unite everyone in the division of Resource Economics
and Management, so we can help each other learn, grow, and have that community
feeling. We aim to offer resources to start REM students in the start of their
career.
Sigma Alpha is a professional agricultural sorority that promotes scholarship,
leadership, service and fellowship among its members. The sorority was founded
in 1978 at the Ohio State University by five women who wanted an alternative
to the social Greek sorority system. Since that time, Sigma Alpha has become
a national organization consisting of more than 35 chapters.

Society for Conservation Biology
The mission of the WVU Chapter of the Society for Conservation Biology is to unite
and inspire members with a love for nature and wildlife. They promote awareness
