Apples on sale at the WVU Organic Research (Horticulture) Farm

Apples, brought in from Kearneysville, W.Va., will be on sale at the WVU Organic (Horticulture) Farm

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. - Nothing says "fall" like fresh-picked apples, and for $1 per pound, you can get your hands on some by visiting the WVU Organic Research (Horticulture) Farm from now into November. 


Apples will be available Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Several varieties are available, including Red Delicious, Golden Delicious, Rome Beauty and Stayman Winesap. 


The WVU Organic Research Farm, also known as the Horticulture Farm, is located on Route 705 in Morgantown. For more information, contact Marvin Clark, WVU farm worker, by calling (304) 293-4727.
