Miller's passion for project management brought him to West Virginia University, while his interest in renewable energy helped him find a home in the Davis College of Agriculture and Natural Resources. He is also active in the American Association of Professional Landmen and the Michael Late Benedum Chapter.

This past summer, Miller interned with Applied Construction Solutions, a midstream construction company that works with major oil and gas operators across West Virginia. The experience gave him a firsthand look at the industry and reaffirmed his interest in renewable energy.

Outside of class, Miller enjoys everything that comes with the WVU experience, especially the electric atmosphere of Mountaineer football. One of his favorite memories so far was experiencing last year’s Backyard Brawl victory over Pitt, a game he said perfectly captured the school spirit that makes WVU special.

“The WVU environment is just awesome. The school spirit, the people and the atmosphere, especially at football games, make it a really special place to be.” - Quincy Miller
