Agribusiness Management and Applied Economics
This major offers a flexible curriculum with two key areas of emphasis
to equip students with a comprehensive understanding of both business
operations and economic development in agricultural and natural resource
industries. Students will learn to effectively manage small businesses
and address complex environmental challenges within the agribusiness
and natural resource sectors.
Agricultural and Extension Education
This major is tailored to equip students for various roles related to
the human aspects of the agriculture and natural resources industries.
From certifying secondary agricultural teachers and preparing students
to effectively engage in extension work throughout communities to developing
the skills needed to engage and manage people across the agricultural
and natural resources sectors, this program offers diverse opportunities
to build a solid foundation of skills in education, communication and
leadership.
Landscape Architecture
With a special commitment to improving the quality of urban and rural life, landscape architects apply both art and science to achieve the best use of land. Students acquire hand drawing and computer skills, study design theory and site engineering, and apply the knowledge to a series of environmental design projects.
