Teaching Assistant Professor of Human Nutrition and Foods
Kelli George is a licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and currently serves as a Teaching Assistant Professor and Director of the Didactic Program in Dietetics at WVU. Kelli earned her bachelor's degree at Virginia Tech, completed her dietetic internship at VCU Health, and earned her doctorate at Florida State University. At WVU, in additional to advising many students on their nutrition-related career paths, Kelli currently teaches the following courses: Introduction to Nutrition, Professional Development in Dietetics, and Medical Nutrition Therapy II. In additional to teaching, Kelli has and continues to author and co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles and is actively involved in the West Virginia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
