Teaching Assistant Professor of Human Nutrition and Foods
Kelli George is a licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and currently serves as a Teaching Assistant Professor and Director of the Didactic Program in Dietetics at WVU. Kelli earned her bachelor's degree at Virginia Tech, completed her dietetic internship at VCU Health, and earned her doctorate at Florida State University. At WVU, in additional to advising many HN&F students on their nutrition and health-related career paths, Kelli currently teaches the following courses: Introduction to Nutrition, Professional Development in Dietetics, Foodservice Systems Management, and Medical Nutrition Therapy II. In additional to teaching and advising, Kelli has authored and co-authored peer-reviewed journal articles, lead study abroad trips with coworkers, and is actively involved in the West Virginia Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
