Forest Operations Extension Specialist
Dr. Ben Spong earned a bachelor of science degree in forest resources from the University of Washington and both a master of forestry degree and a doctorate in forest engineering from Oregon State University. He teaches wood science courses in harvesting forest products and in forest roads. Dr. Spong is also an associate professor extension specialist.
