Bora, Siddhartha

Assistant Professor

Siddhartha S. Bora is an Assistant Professor of Agribusiness Management and Applied Economics at West Virginia University. His research spans commodity markets, natural resources, agricultural finance, time-series analysis, and big data analytics. At WVU, he teaches courses in commodity markets, agricultural policy, agribusiness finance, agribusiness sales, and natural resource economics. 

Siddhartha earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics at The Ohio State University in 2022. His work has appeared in leading agricultural economics journals including the American Journal of Agricultural Economics, the Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics, and the Journal of Agricultural and Applied Economics. In 2021, Siddhartha received the Outstanding Research Award from the Agricultural Finance and Management section of the Agricultural & Applied Economics Association.
