Experience Beyond the Classroom
Gain hands-on experience as one of five interns on our certified organic research
farm. Interns are responsible for managing the farm, running the Market Garden
and conducting research alongside Davis College faculty members. Contact
Sven Verlinden, associate professor of horticulture, for more information.
The Davis-Michael Scholars Program provides financial and education support for
animal and nutritional sciences majors to help prepare them for veterinary school.
The program provides scholarships, educational opportunities, internships and
seminars and enhanced facilities beneficial to students.
If you see yourself as a creator, an entrepreneur and a problem solver, join the
WVU Davis College Young Innovators Program. It provides access to mentors, resources
and funding to start your new venture.
