Create Account and Payment of fees.
  1. Find the course below that you want to register for.
  2. Click on the link associated with the course. It will open in a new page.
    1. Click on the “Add to Cart” button on the selected page. When prompted, log in if you have
      account in WVU Continuing Education Registration System. Otherwise click on “Create New Profile” and create a new student profile (single user).
    2. Once you are logged in click on the shopping cart icon and check out with credit card. You will receive confirmation in email.

Once you have paid the fee and received an email notifying you that the Administrative Hold is now removed from the course you must complete registration in Mix to be enrolled in the course for credit.


A&VS 462: SPTP Performance Horse Industry Tour (3 cr)

This intensive course is designed to introduce students to the Performance Horse Industry. Trips will include visiting breeding farms, training facilities, breed association headquarters, equine veterinary clinics, horse shows, and more throughout WV.

FOR 293: WV Trees and Shrubs (3 CR)

This is an intensive, two-week course where students will learn how to identify common trees, shrubs, and woody vines of West Virginia. Morning lectures will focus on the life history (silvical) traits and distinctive characteristics of woody plants. Daily field excursions introduce students to the attributes used to identify seedlings, saplings, and mature plants. Included will be field trips to bottomland forests and northern hardwood forests, as well as oak-hickory and cove hardwood forests more typical of the region. This course is designed for majors in the Division of Forestry and Natural Resources but is appropriate for anyone with an interest in tree identification.

WMAN 205: Wildlife & Fisheries Sciences Summer Camp (3 CR)

Section with Fisheries Emphasis

This is a field-intensive, orientation course is field ecology and wildlife/fisheries sampling techniques. It is designed to immerse the beginning wildlife and fisheries professional in the art and science of collecting data on wildlife and fishes and their habitats.

WMAN 314: Marine Ecology (3credits)

Study of key coastal species and their interactions. Self-paced lectures and exercises culminating with one-week capstone trip to Atlantic coast for hands-on study of invertebrates, coastal fishes and birds, and marine ecology.
