WVU Semester Exchange Programs

The WVU Semester Exchange Program allows WVU students to study abroad for a semester or an entire school year by “swapping” places with a student from one of over 30 exchange institutions. The chance of placement at WVU Semester Exchange programs vary and students must choose multiple host institutions that they would be willing to attend.

Students continue to paying their regular tuition and fees at WVU, while housing and meals are either paid at WVU or at the host institution. Students with federal and state financial aid (including WV Promise) may use these funds toward a WVU Semester Exchange program.
